Fibromyalgia (FM or FMS) is characterised by chronic widespread pain and allodynia (a heightened and painful response to pressure). Its exact cause is unknown but is believed to involve psychological, genetic, neurobiological and environmental factors. Fibromyalgia symptoms are not restricted to pain, leading to the use of the alternative term fibromyalgia syndrome for the condition.
I have been suffering from severe headaches for years. After hearing Dr. Carlson speak at a seminar on the benefits of chiropratic services, I made my first appointment. Dr. Carlson and his staff were very professional and caring. I have been able to stop the prescription medication I was taking for headaches. I do not miss as much work.
